The Personalized Psychotherapy Institute was created to educate mental health practitioners on Control Mastery Theory and Patient Plan Formulations.

Our goal is to help clinicians understand how psychopathology occurs and how to develop a Patient Plan Formulation, which helps address the root causes of psychopathology for each individual.

Our mission, as the education wing of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group, is to provide clinicians research based approaches to become extraordinary therapists.
